Myriam Volterra
Myriam Volterra has been working in the fashion industry for over than thirty years and her name has been associated with a great knowledge and experience in the world of fashion. Her curriculum describes the career of one of the first female manager in Italy: thanks to her ability, intuition, strong personality and professionalism, Myriam Volterra has now become one of the most important entrepreneurs in the fashion world.
The passion for fashion combined with the knowledge of English, French, German, Spanish and Italian were the pushing wheel and the key success of Myriam Volterra. Myriam began her career as Assistant Director of Sales and Marketing Manager at Gianfranco Ferré, where she worked for seven years, from 1982 to 1989. In 1989, she moved to Les Copains (Ursula Conzen) as Sales and Marketing Manager, where she specialized in ready-to-wear, knitwear and sportswear. In 1993, she was chosen by the company Annalisa Ferro as an Export Sales Manager.
Thanks to this additional great responsibility, she got the chance to refine her technique and her skills. A turning point has arrived in 1994. Myriam Volterra decided to switch from the managing role to begin her own career as an entrepreneur. She founded ‘Myriam Volterra buying office’ in Milan. Thanks to Myriam and her collaborators’ great knowledge and professionalism as fashion experts and to the high quality luxury products’ offer, the company became one of the most important international fashion offices in Italy.
